A total of one hundred films will participate and in the official competition of the second edition of terres Catalunya Eco & Travel festival film festival, which will be held from 2 to 5 May in the city of Tortosa. The festival, which specializes in tourism, landscape and travel films, has received around 250 registrations from all over Spain, but also from countries such as Portugal, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Chile, Brazil or Iran, among others. Up to 18 countries will be represented in this 2018 edition of the festival.
However, the official competition is made up of 100 films between the two competitions of the festival, dedicated to Tourist Communication and Documentaries, all of them will be able to see in the projections that will take place during the days of the contest in the Auditorium Felip Pedrell of Tortosa and in the Tortosa Market. The jury that has to evaluate them is international and their verdict will be announced at the awards ceremony held on May 4 at the Hotel SB Corona in the city.
The organization of the festival has been very satisfied with the number and quality of the works that have been presented, since the figures for the 2017 call have been exceeded.
The terres Catalunya Eco & Travel festival film is the only one specialized in tourism audiovisual taking place in Catalonia and Spain and is a candidate member of the CIFFT, the International Committee of Tourist Festivals.
