Synopsis
The film is about the roma community in Athens, and how they risk their lives to collect recyclable materials to make illicit money. Illiteracy is what leads their community into illegal recycling As a result of this - they raise the percentage of recycle in the city.
Objectives
In 2016 while filming with BBC 2 for a series, I encounter this topic in my city. Athens.
Something I had no clue about. I wanted to know what and why this is happening. I wanted to observe and make people aware that Athens is not only what most of us thing it is.
The film is nothing more than an observation in the life of a Romani comunity.
