• My Balkan Roadtrip (100 Days of Solo Travel in 3 Minutes)

My Balkan Roadtrip is a cinematic summary of a bold creative experiment: to leave behind structure, comfort, and planning—and to trust the unknown. Over the course of 100 days, I lived, filmed, and edited entirely out of my old Land Rover as I traveled solo through the Balkans.
Each week, I challenged myself to create and release a new video on YouTube, with no fixed destination and no predetermined script. This short film is the distilled result of that journey — a wordless, emotional narrative stitched together from dozens of moments captured across mountains, coastlines, and remote roads.
There is no dialogue, no text — just a visual attempt to translate the feeling of solitude, discovery, and freedom. It’s a personal diary turned universal invitation: to trust your creative instinct, to go out there, and to see what happens when you let the road—and your imagination—lead the way.

• Voice Message from a Friend 

In this chapter of my docuseries Voice Message from a Friend, I travel deep into southern Morocco, living out of my old Land Rover and creating short films with the bare minimum.
Film #9 captures my time in Tafraout — a town hidden among surreal rock formations and golden desert light. What started as a random drive turned into something much deeper: an unexpected connection with the landscape and the people I met.
A raw and honest portrait of solo travel, discovering unfamiliar places, and the human connections that happen when you slow down and remain open.

Why I Love Africa – Is a cinematic travel film that follows our journey through one of the most remote and visually surreal regions on earth. Shot across desert dunes, wildlife reserves, and vast open landscapes, the film reflects on stillness, scale, and connection to nature. This is a place I didn’t expect to fall in love with. As a filmmaker, it offers a quiet kind of peace. Capturing it is unpredictable; you never know what to expect from the elements, and that unknown is what makes it so raw and rewarding.

• Come and Find Me

The film follows a girl leaving clues around the island, supposedly for a lost love to come and find her, as the film unfolds, the viewer realises it is in fact the island sending out the love letter to the world to come and find her. The girl personfies the island and it’s beauty.

• Wild Earth Expedition

Wild Earth Expedition is a round-the-world trip in search of the planet’s wildest and most extraordinary landscapes.
Photographer and Filmmaker Rubén Sánchez and oceanographer Sierra Jacobs embarked on an overland trip around the world in 2022 to photograph and film the planet’s most extraordinary landscapes. It’s a solo, unassisted trip in which they travel through different countries and landscapes, documenting the entire journey through weekly episodes published on the YouTube channel RubenEarth.

Three brothers set off across northern India, chasing the memory of their grandmother and the country she adored. Guided by her wartime diaries, their journey unfolds by rail — from the chaos of Delhi to the cedar-lined ridges of Shimla. Along the way, they navigate the vivid contrasts of modern India: bustling stations, jungle valleys, and the quiet grandeur of the Himalayas. What begins as a family pilgrimage becomes a meditation on time, place, and the invisible threads that bind us to the people who came before.
