Airbnb Terres Video Contest

The competition

Airbnb Terres Video Contest is a video production competition of up to 2’ of duration, open to everyone. The aim of the initiative is to:

To show the human values behind the concept of hospitality and the responsible discovery for destinations.
To promote the level of knowledge of Terres de l’Ebre and their discovery in a sustainable and responsible way.

Objectives

The projects submitted must promote:

Visibility of responsible tourism activities in Terres de l’Ebre.
To show the human values behind the concept of hospitality and the responsible discovery for destinations.

Participants

The competition is open to everyone. Registrations are made online through the web terresfestival.com/airbnb

Registration is free of charge.

To register, participants must fill out a short form available on the website where they are asked about:

Box of acceptance to receive news about the festival

Registration

The registration process will be on-line and will be made through the website terresfestival.com/airbnb.

Once registered, participants will receive an email with access data to the festival intranet in order to upload the required video and technical information:

Participants will aspire to a prize consisting of €1500 in cash and €500 in travel coupons.

The registration process will begin on March 1 2020. The deadline for submitting projects is August 23 2020 at 24h.

An international jury will determine the competition winner.

The award ceremony will take place on September 10 2020, as part of the Terres Festival award ceremony. Winners will be notified by email to attend.

Assessment of the jury

An international jury will determine the competition winner.

It will assess:

The proposal narrative originality
The technical quality
Adequacy to the proposed topic

Broadcast

The shortlisted films will be screened at the Terres Travel Festival – Films & Creativity, from 4 to 11 September, 2020. Authors will be informed of the finalist videos so that they can attend the screening session and will be given the option to present the work.

Other options of broadcast and Copyright

The authors of the films will share the copyright with the competition organization, which may transfer the broadcasting rights to third parties for tourism promotion in the region. The authors of the films will be able to distribute it freely at other festivals, always informing the organization accordingly.
