French Camera. Ardavan Zeini Sogh. Iran, 2024 (31’)

A bicycle tourist family consisting of woman, man and children enters Iran on the way of tourism and travel around the world. On the way of cycling tourists in Iran, they entered Fars province and in Firozabad city of Fars, they lost their camera which they had taken during the trip. When someone else in another city of Fars province named Qir-o-Karzin knows about loss of camera, they bought a camera and give It as a gift to tourists. After learning about this, the film crew went to Fars province and took action to find the tourists’ camera.

“Where are you from?” merges 3D animation and music to immerse the viewer in a high-impact cinematic journey about caring for the planet. It combines realism with fantasy, using aesthetic and first-person cameras to create an immersive experience. It effectively conveys the urgency of addressing environmental disaster and its consequences in a raw and emotional manner, while leaving open a hopeful door for future generations.

The Spanish know how to party and the Verín Carnival, in Spain, very close to Chaves, is only for the brave – starting with the Enfariñada which, as the name suggests, involves eggs and flour in the streets between kids and adults. In San Cibrao, right next to the border, the pagan festivities of Queima do Entrudo at night take on cinematic dimensions. Many Portuguese take part in these festivities.
