Synopsis

Foxes Safari Camps, a portfolio of seven camps and lodges within Western and Southern Tanzania, showcases Rufiji River Camp within Africa’s largest national park, Nyerere National Park (Formally Selous Game Reserve). Rufiji River Camp is the first sited lodge to be built in what is today the north-eastern photographic section of Nyerere National Park, and ​​The highlights the camp’s unique location overlooking the Great Rufiji River, Tanzania’s largest. The production begins with the riverboat safari guide sharing his passion for the water and the importance of the Great Rufiji River, Tanzania’s largest, within the reserve. It reveals life along the river, from crocodile and hippo to the abundant birdlife, highlighting the unique experience of a riverboat safari.

This short film aims to showcase Rufiji River Camp and Nyerere National Park, promoting Southern Tanzania as a unique safari destination. The film positions the camp as an exceptional safari destination within the uncrowded Southern section of Tanzania. It aims to showcase the natural beauty and abundant wildlife of Nyerere National Park, emphasising its allure as a safari destination. It offers a glimpse into life around the river and the importance of it within the national park. The production highlights the unique experience of riverboat safaris with an intimate perspective of the region’s hippo, crocodile and vibrant birdlife. The purpose of the film is to bring awareness to the Rufiji River Camp as well as highlight Southern Tanzania as a unique and desired safari destination.
