Synopsis

Türkiye stands out as a country that focuses on sustainability and sustainable tourism. With the agreement made between the GSTC (Global Sustainable Tourism Council) and the government, Türkiye offers three-stage certification to facilities. It attaches importance to sustainability at every stage in areas such as Unesco World Heritage properties, Blue Flag beaches, Michelin Green Star restaurants, EuroVelo bicycle routes and restoration and excavation works carried out to transfer cultural heritage to future generations.
