Directed by Joel Badia Vila, the documentary revisits this historic achievement from a deeply human perspective. Beyond the sporting accomplishment, the film focuses on friendship, perseverance, respect and a passion for the mountains as essential elements in taking on an expedition of such magnitude.

The film also offers an insight into the challenge of climbing Everest four decades ago, considering the equipment and resources available at the time, while exploring the ethics and values of its protagonists.
