Synopsis
Through video stories, we present four Slovenian cities as open, playful places that inspire freedom and personal exploration. Rich cultural, historical, and architectural heritage blends with the vibrant creativity of a young generation. We explore Ljubljana with Joker Out, feel Nova Gorica with pianist Alex Gadjiev, dance in Maribor with choreographer Edward Clug, and follow Ptuj with actress Iva Kranjc Bagola.
Objectives
Through video stories, we showcase Slovenian cities and their vibrant cultural pulse through immersive “walks” with renowned creators who live or work there. Following their days among favorite spots and familiar faces, each video captures the authentic spirit, energy, and unique character of the city—offering a true feel-good experience. The towns and main characters were chosen deliberately. The triangle of Maribor, Ljubljana, and Nova Gorica represents the largest urban hubs of cultural and artistic production in Slovenia, while Ptuj was named Europe’s Best Cultural Heritage Destination 2026 by the EBD platform. The main characters are individuals who leave their mark on Slovenia’s cultural heritage and beyond, creating in the fields of indie pop and rock or classical music, ballet, theater, and film.
