The objective was to position Ascona-Locarno as a premium trail running destination by showcasing the region’s unique combination of alpine terrain and Mediterranean atmosphere. The film aims to inspire active travellers, strengthen the emotional connection to the destination and present trail running as an immersive experience rather than a competitive sport. The project focuses on emotional storytelling rather than traditional tourism communication. By avoiding voice-over and explanatory elements, the film allows visuals, sound and rhythm to convey the experience authentically. The cinematic approach creates a strong sensory impact and positions trail running as a gateway to discovering the destination.
