Synopsis
Many Colombians have never truly traveled their own country. Years of violence, fear and negative stereotypes kept entire regions off their personal maps. This film avoids major cities and travels to remote territories, focusing on everyday life, rituals, craftsmanship and local rhythms. It reveals a country that grew without being seen, inviting Colombians to discover, value and care for places they never thought were theirs. A journey into the territories that have always shaped who we are.
Objectives
To encourage Colombians to travel differently within their own country by discovering regions beyond the usual routes. The campaign seeks to spark curiosity and connection with local cultures and everyday life, while promoting a more conscious form of travel that values nature, supports local economies and leaves a positive impact on territories that for years remained outside the tourism conversation. We worked with real people, not actors. Every frame features either indigenous Wayuu community members or first-time visitors, whose genuine reactions became part of the visual fabric. This demanded precision in framing, camera placement, and timing to capture moments that could never be repeated. Wide shots conveyed the territory’s scale and force, while close details revealed its intimacy. This is not a sales piece. It is a crafted visual experience that preserves the integrity of the territory while elevating its beauty through the lens, allowing the land and its people to tell the story.
