Synopsis

The Bieszczady Mountains in Poland can captivate with their scenery in any season. And when bears appear on the horizon alongside the forester Kazimierz Nóżka, you can’t help but want to drop everything and simply go there. “Tales of the Bear” unfold at an unhurried pace, answering questions such as: “Does the old bear really sleep soundly? What do dens look like? What is the difference between tracks and trails? Do bears like honey? Can cubs have different fathers? What kind of parents are the popular ‘teddy bears’?” The cinematography presents unique footage of brown bears during moments of courtship, raising their young, playing, and climbing trees.
