Synopsis

The last white athlete to win the world cross-country championship is Catalan. It was Pere Casacuberta, a farmer from Gurb who in 1984 became the junior world cross-country champion in New Jersey against all odds, a feat that catapulted him to fame.

Objectives

It is the story of a collective failure that seeks to explain not only what happened, but to highlight why, while also making visible the feat of Casacuberta, as well as that of the rest of the athletes who lived in that society.
