A story of ideas – from their first spark to real impact. Connecting a 5,000-year-old legacy of innovation with today’s knowledge, creativity and collaboration, the film reveals the Ljubljana Urban Region as a dynamic ecosystem where people, nature and ideas come together to shape a sustainable, forward-looking and globally relevant place to live, work and create.
Objectives
To position the Ljubljana Urban Region as an innovative and sustainable region. The film communicates its development potential, strong knowledge base and collaborative ecosystem, strengthening its international visibility and supporting partnerships, investment interest and overall regional recognition. A strong narrative adds an emotional dimension, reflecting the region’s authentic, people-friendly character. This project stands out by shifting the focus from destination promotion to regional development, highlighting people, knowledge and collaboration as key drivers of progress. It reflects a shared vision of 25 municipalities and presents a more authentic and future-oriented narrative of what a region can be. Particular attention was given to storytelling, using a strong narrative to elevate the film beyond a sequence of beautiful scenes and create a more meaningful and engaging experience.
