Synopsis

"Chill Chiayi City" interprets the unique characteristics of select stores across Chiayi City, Taiwan. The attitude of being “chill” means being comfortable with your own unique style and expressing one’s attitude—just like the hundreds of vibrant select stores, each with its inspiring entrepreneurial story. In the music video, we experience a variety of ways to enjoy Chiayi City: old Japanese style wooden houses, abundant forests, stylish cafes & book stores, to the famous Hinoki-made trains.

Objectives

This video aims to present various select stores across Chiayi City in the form of a music video. Chiayi is located in southwestern Taiwan near Mountain Ali. Due to its geography and abundant forest industry in the past, the historical railway stations and Japanese-style wooden houses are kept till this date as distinctive cultural touring spots. This video shows how Chiayi continues to have a blend of traditional and new shops in the city, making it a popular place to "chill".
