Synopsis

12 Year old Aya continuing her multi-award winning adventures.
This time she visits Saudi Arabia and is greeted by Omar, a 14 year old local boy who loves to show people his country.

Together they embark on a 20 day adventure across 4 different parts of the country, where they meet locals, discover the country's diverse landscape and nature, from the red sea to the 3000 meter high mountains.

Our favourite moment is when a local Beads merchant offers Aya and Beads Necklace and says, totally unscripted "In the name of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, I offer you this gift, and welcome you"

Objectives

The main goal of this project was to showcase the human side of Saudi Arabia, by organically filming encounters and conversations.
