TO THE SOUTWEST - People, nature and culture of Belice Valley.

Immerse yourself in the mystic lands of Southwest Sicily, where the Mediterranean sea breeze caresses the ancient vineyards and the Sicilian sun warms your soul. In a land where our ancestors left a unique heritage of traditions and culture to treasure and refer back to as time goes by. Because time goes slowly here, and time, here, is your friend.

Through the interviews to farmers, fishermen, and artists of the area, learn about the local history and culture and be ready for a cultural immersion.

Objectives

TO THE SOUTHWEST was created thanks to the support of ENI CBC MED PROGRAMME, RESTART MED! project with the aim to promote sustainable tourism in the Mediterranean. The area is told by its inhabitants, through short interviews, where those people express their relationship with their land and culture. These are the people that you meet if you visit the area, thanks to the experiences and itineraries we have created in the Belìce Valley, a remote area of Sicily.
