The film “Beyond Bayreuth: Diversity and Visions” highlights the region of Bayreuth as much more than its Wagner Festivals and opera house. Through different characters such as a photographer, a family and a professional climber, it explores "Homeland" as a source of connection, inspiration and growth. Spanning the Fichtel Mountains to the Franconian Switzerland, it celebrates cultural and natural diversity, inspired by famous Jean Paul’s words: “the path from one paradise to another.”

The goal is to showcase Landkreis Bayreuth as a region of boundless opportunities, blending natural beauty, cultural richness, and innovation. The film shows the diversity of the region beyond traditional attractions, such as the well known Wagner Festival and the opera house. Through authentic stories, it explores "Homeland," promotes a sense of belonging, curiosity and emphasizes outdoor activities, sustainability and wellness.
