Synopsis

Set in the sun-kissed landscape of DO Penedès, this video invites viewers to discover a territory where climate, time and craftsmanship shape not only wines and sparkling wines of exceptional quality—but also some of the most refined vinegars. Part of the Costa Daurada Wine & Gastronomy Map project by the Tarragona Provincial Council, the piece highlights how Mediterranean light, soil and tradition converge to create a culture of care, patience and identity. Penedès is not only a cradle of winemaking, but also the birthplace of Pau Casals—adding a musical and emotional resonance to a land where excellence is nurtured slowly and shared passionately.

The film aims to promote the DO Penedès region as a destination where wine, culture and landscape coexist in harmony. It seeks to raise awareness of the area's enogastronomic value, foster sustainable and proximity-based tourism, and emotionally connect viewers with the craftsmanship and identity behind each bottle—whether wine or vinegar.
