Objectives

The project aimed to strengthen the visibility and market position of Karlovačka županija as the leading continental destination in Croatia, attract new domestic and international visitors, and reinforce its image as an authentic, active, experience-based destination. It also sought to increase digital reach, support local tourism stakeholders, and contribute to long-term sustainable development and competitiveness. The film features entirely local elements – actors, ingredients, and resources – reflecting authentic tourism. Its “we plan your weekend, you plan ours” concept positions Karlovac county as the ideal weekend escape for visitors from Zagreb, Rijeka, and Dalmatia: close enough for a spontaneous trip, yet diverse enough to offer adventure, relaxation, or a romantic reset in just two days, appealing to modern travelers seeking meaningful shared experiences.
