Synopsis
Together with Amazon Planet, we had the opportunity to explore the stunning natural paradise of the Amazon. But not only that, we also got to witness firsthand the amazing work carried out by both Amazon Planet and the Taricaya Reserve to protect the Amazon rainforest and all the species that inhabit it. Documenting all of this was an incredible experience. At Taricaya, we saw up close the huge effort they make to rescue animals and reintroduce them into the wild, a vital task to preserve many of the species that live there. And of course, a huge thank you to the entire Amazon Planet and Taricaya teams. They treated us amazingly well from start to finish, and our experience with them was truly unforgettable. If you’re ever planning to visit the Peruvian Amazon, you absolutely have to stay at Amazon Planet and visit the Taricaya Reserve. Amazon Planet is a unique lodge in the Amazon, truly integrated with nature and designed to be completely respectful of the environment. We all need to be aware of the difficult situation the Amazon is facing, and remember that each of us can do our part to help protect nature.
Objectives
To raise awareness about the Amazon's fragile state, promote sustainable tourism, spotlight the wildlife recovery work of Amazon Planet and Taricaya Reserve, and foster an emotional connection that inspires individual environmental responsibility.
