Synopsis
Foxes Safari Camps is a portfolio of seven camps and lodges within Western and Southern Tanzania, which includes Ruaha River Lodge within Ruaha, Tanzania’s second largest national park. The park is home to some of the largest and oldest baobab trees in Tanzania with the lodge built around them, and located along the banks of the Great Ruaha River. The Foxes share the history and significance of the lodge for the family - the first one built in the national park and how truly remote this part of Tanzania is. Its position along the river offers game viewing that is just as good as exploring the park by safari vehicle. The imagery of the game drives, hot air balloons, riverside drinks, Askari walks showcases the exciting activities guests can do when visiting Ruaha River Lodge.
Objectives
The purpose of this short film is to showcase Ruaha River Lodge, Ruaha National Park, and to promote Southern Tanzania as a unique and wild safari destination. As the first lodge ever built in Ruaha National Park and within the Foxes Safari Camps portfolio, it is seen as a second home for many of the Fox family and steeped in history. The production aims to showcase this ideal position of the lodge, set right against the Great Ruaha river, an important and frequented water source for wildlife. It aims to highlight how the safari experience doesn’t end after a game drive, as there is always something to see from the lodge. The park and camp offer more than just spectacular wildlife sightings, with its range of landscapes, iconic baobab trees, and sunsets.
