Synopsis
Desde 1991, Angelo y su equipo de investigación vigilan a los cetáceos de Ischia a bordo del velero Jean Gab. Utilizando métodos acústicos y fotográficos, identifican y catalogan tanto a las especies residentes como a las visitantes. El aumento del tráfico marino y de la contaminación por plásticos en los últimos años ha afectado gravemente a los cachalotes en esta parte del Mediterráneo, reduciendo su población en un 70%. Decididos a proteger a estos gentiles gigantes, Angelo y su equipo reciben en Jean Gab a viajeros de todo el mundo para ayudar a establecer un área marina protegida que salvaguarde el futuro de la especie.
