Synopsis

Art shapes culture, culture transforms people, and people are the soul of every destination. This is the spirit of Valle del Cauca, Colombia, a land where the Pacific culture pulses with music, dance, and ancestral storytelling. To share this cultural heartbeat with the world, we brought its performers to iconic European landmarks like the Colosseum, the Louvre, and the Royal Palace of Madrid. These public interventions turned global stages into living extensions of the region’s heritage. Valle del Cauca revealed itself as more than a place, but powerful cultural experience. A destination where heritage becomes performance, and identity becomes celebration.

Objectives

With this film, we set out to bring global attention to Valle del Cauca, home to the Petronio Álvarez Festival, the largest celebration of Afro-descendant culture in Latin America and one of the most important outside of Africa. Our goal was to position the region not only as a tourism destination, but as a cultural epicenter where music, dance, and identity converge. By taking Pacific performers to iconic European landmarks, we aimed to create emotional encounters between local tradition and global audiences. Ultimately, it’s an invitation to see the region through its most powerful assets: its people and their culture.
