Objectives
The film MAUTHAUSEN is the most personal film script of the creator & camp survivor Iakovos Kambanellis and an unfulfilled vision of his, which 35 years after its initial conception (1988) is now taking its final form, in the place where the martyrdom was experienced and the original inspiration came from. Through this audio-visual modular narrative storytelling project containing 4 songs in short music films and a poetic documentary with high transmedia storytelling value - in memory of "never again" - the story is presented in a refreshed and modern way taking advantage of combining arts such as narration, lyrical drama, performance art, choreography, photography, Holocaust survivor interview within a documentary form making the audiovisual production a special kind of film where art meets and tells history with timeless value. Engaging the audience attention in and out of the box approach by avoiding a monotone structure.
