Synopsis

Watu wa Afrika is a short story about my quarterly wandering around Tanzania and Ethiopia. In pursuit of truth and our origins, the journey took me into some extraordinary places. Amazing nature and, for us, some strange people... From Maasai and Hadzabe tribe in Tanzania to indigenous people of South Ethiopia ? Karo, Mursi, Hamar, Banna and Dassanech tribe. I've recorded a way of life that has not changed for thousands of years, as well as tribal ceremonies like whipping and bull jumping. It's hard to even imagine that in 21 st century still exist people who live without modern techonology, electricity or even water. We call them primitive, but one thing is for sure. They are way smarter and developed than we think. Those people are happy people. I guess the most important thing in life is to be happy. In pursuit of some remote cultures and people, I found a happiness within myself.
