A glimpse into the active conservation and scientific and human effort behind protecting a threatened species.\n“Spoiled” (19’) focuses on the efforts of local communities, fishers and environmental organisations to protect South Africa’s oceans from the expansion of offshore oil and gas exploration and extraction. A story of resistance, commitment and hope that calls for the protection of marine ecosystems and the communities that depend on them.\nFinally, “Wetlands” (26’) takes us to Poland to explore the importance of wetlands, among the fastest-disappearing ecosystems on the planet.
